I am so glad I am able to express my beliefs and I am thankful that all who choose to speak, for or against Christ, have the same rights I do.....More than rights....it is God given FREE WILL that has been given to all of us....

EPHESIANS 2:10 WEYMOUTH
10 For we are God's own handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for
good works which He has pre-destined us to practise.

Look around. See for yourself. God is an artist extraordinaire!

When we gaze at a beautiful sunset, or look at the infinitely
varied forms of life we find surrounding us, and realize that
God designed it all, it is easy to be impressed. God is an
artist. The most brilliant, creative artist ever to exist.

But when we look at our own lives and consider what God is
doing there, we tend to forget that God is an artist. He is
making something beautiful out of you and your life. You may
not see the beauty now -- you may not even see any design or
evidence that God is working -- but you will recognize it
someday.

God's intention for you is to be much more beautiful and
glorious than a sunset or a school of multi-colored fish. And
you will be! God will not fail.

"Wait a minute, preacher. I can see plenty of people that God
has failed on. They are anything but "beautiful and glorious"
-- inwardly or outwardly."

Yes... today. But God is not finished. Many great works of art
take a long time. Don't judge too soon!

SAY THIS: God is an artist and He is working on me. Go ahead,
God. Let's see what you can do.  I am happy to be a canvas for
Jesus, the great creator,  to work on.

My thoughts: I can remember when I would have been afraid, of when I thought this life was all there was and it would go on forever. When you are young, death is not real. Well, I'm older now (61) and death is still not real... What is real for me and gives me great peace is that Eternal Life is real, not in this world, but in God's world. Yea!!!

Enlightenment Via God

Oh boy, Twitter, has really opened my eyes to the volumes of rhetoric on how to live your life, how to prosper, how to gain enlightenment, how to be happy, how to...how to...how to.....

I dont know about you but when a stranger is telling me how to be happy and just charging $97 dollars for the privilege, I just can't fall into it. The bible is free....you can go into any church and receive one. The next step is to read it and the next step you really want to achieve is to begin to understand what you are reading.

My husband and I are reading the Bible in a year. We started out with the New King James Version and about six books into the Old testament it was.....oh my....can I get through this....but then divine intervention and we changed to "The Message" version and suddenly God's word became crystal clear. NO human can begin to give you instruction on a joy filled life. It only comes from our Lord. Our God, Jesus Christ, the creator and maker of me and this world. So I will tweet, I will follow and be followed, but the words spewed, unless God-like and according to the Bible, are just faint shadows on the landscape of humanity which will fall on my deaf ears and only feed my purpose to proclaim my Lord more loudly than before. Go God!!!!
