Recession??? What Recession???

We are suffering from the "deer in the headlight" syndrome.  We are the middle class....we are small business owners....we have property, we have equity, we have debt.  We experience all the economy has to offer.  We are always the middle....supporting both ENDS....the poor and the rich.....We are not complaining. just sick in our heart, knowing that until America realizes that our greatness does not come from democracy but from morals....and returns to morals and God for the answers and realizes  that the true  BAIL OUT  is eternal life....the blinders are then lifted, and you can find the true joy that no man implemented plan can provide.  In the meantime....you can read here how the money manufactured to keep you happy is going to be doled out....let's get in line with our hand out.....yippee skippee

excerpt from one of the news channels....

How will the Recovery Act work?

Very soon, the different agencies -- such as the Departments of Education; Health and Human Services; and Energy -- will decide who will receive award grants and contracts. Sometimes the money will go to a state government; other times, the funds will go directly to a school, hospital, contractor, or other organization. Agencies will then deliver that information to the Recovery.gov team. We will subsequently make the information available on Recovery.gov, and you will be able to track where the money is going. You'll be able to search by state or even by Congressional district; you'll be able to look up names of Federal contractors or other recipients of Federal dollars; and you'll be able to send in comments, thoughts, ideas, questions, and any responses you have to what you find. More from Recovery.gov.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME???????

Obama touts aid plan's impact on average Americans. I just read the first thoughts on Obama's economic recovery plan and I am missing from the plan.....Just an average small business person, mom and pop operation, no employees.....self employed.....past the age of having children.....working our butts off.....trying to cope with rising costs, ridiculous health care premiums $1000.00 a month which is accomplished by having an $8500 out of pocket expense before coverage begins in full.....Whoopeeee..

..Why do I not exist. I am on the fringe....not rich but not poor and I am not alone....Millions of Americans are in my position.....We are the ones that never win....we just keep plugging along, keeping the faith and waiting for things to get better where we can just live the life we work for, earn money for and deserve. We deserve the fruits of our labor. We are not subsidized.....we are not given anything.....We do not qualify...I know I will never qualify for the programs that will abound in our new recovery....I will struggle, I will survive, I will do what is necessary to maintain what I am entitled too by the sweat of my brow. I just feel thankful....that some of the ones that I love the most, will benefit......

It is a sad day that in order to benefit you have to have nothing or too much.....Tears flow for America, for those struggling, for those losing their jobs, losing their homes, losing their faith.......my only hope comes in knowing there is a supreme purpose for all of what is happening today in America and I can not wait to see what unfolds and where the cards fall....

Dear God....Please Bless America

UPDATE
January 20th, 2009 Inauguration Day.....Thank you God for hearing my prayer......AMEN....

January 18th 2009
Dear God....Please bless America and open the eyes of those who choose to ignore you.... especially those who are about to lead our country... AMEN

Obama's remarks at Lincoln Memorial, Jan. 18

I want to thank all the speakers and performers for reminding us, through song and through words, just what it is that we love about America. And I want to thank all of you for braving the cold and the crowds and traveling in some cases thousands of miles to join us here today. Welcome to Washington, and welcome to this celebration of American renewal.

In the course of our history, only a handful of generations have been asked to confront challenges as serious as the ones we face right now. Our nation is at war. Our economy is in crisis. Millions of Americans are losing their jobs and their homes; they're worried about how they'll afford college for their kids or pay the stack of bills on their kitchen table.

And most of all, they are anxious and uncertain about the future -- about whether this generation of Americans will be able to pass on what's best about this country to our children and their children.

I won't pretend that meeting any one of these challenges will be easy. It will take more than a month or a year, and it will likely take many. Along the way, there will be setbacks and false starts and days that test our fundamental resolve as a nation.

But despite all of this -- despite the enormity of the task that lies ahead -- I stand here today as hopeful as ever that the United States of America will endure -- that the dream of our founders will live on in our time.

What gives me that hope is what I see when I look out across this mall. For in these monuments are chiseled those unlikely stories that affirm our unyielding faith -- a faith that anything is possible in America.

Rising before us stands a memorial to a man who led a small band of farmers and shopkeepers in revolution against the army of an Empire, all for the sake of an idea. On the ground below is a tribute to a generation that withstood war and depression -- men and women like my grandparents who toiled on bomber assembly lines and marched across Europe to free the world from tyranny's grasp.

Directly in front of us is a pool that still reflects the dream of a King, and the glory of a people who marched and bled so that their children might be judged by their character's content. And behind me, watching over the union he saved, sits the man who in so many ways made this day possible.

And yet, as I stand here tonight, what gives me the greatest hope of all is not the stone and marble that surrounds us today, but what fills the spaces in between. It is you -- Americans of every race and region and station who came here because you believe in what this country can be and because you want to help us get there.

It is the same thing that gave me hope from the day we began this campaign for the presidency nearly two years ago; a belief that if we could just recognize ourselves in one another and bring everyone together -- Democrats, Republicans, and Independents; Latino, Asian, and Native American; black and white, gay and straight, disabled and not -- then not only would we restore hope and opportunity in places that yearned for both, but maybe, just maybe, we might perfect our union in the process.

This is what I believed, but you made this belief real. You proved once more that people who love this country can change it. And as I prepare to assume the presidency, yours are the voices I will take with me every day I walk into that Oval Office -- the voices of men and women who have different stories but hold common hopes; who ask only for what was promised us as Americans -- that we might make of our lives what we will and see our children climb higher than we did.

It is this thread that binds us together in common effort; that runs through every memorial on this mall; that connects us to all those who struggled and sacrificed and stood here before.

It is how this nation has overcome the greatest differences and the longest odds - because there is no obstacle that can stand in the way of millions of voices calling for change.

That is the belief with which we began this campaign, and that is how we will overcome what ails us now.

There is no doubt that our road will be long. That our climb will be steep. But never forget that the true character of our nation is revealed not during times of comfort and ease, but by the right we do when the moment is hard.

I ask you to help me reveal that character once more, and together, we can carry forward as one nation, and one people, the legacy of our forefathers that we celebrate today.

THE ONLY SOLUTION

I AM SO GLAD I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT THE PERSON WHO LEADS OUR COUNTRY THAT WILL SOLVE MY PROBLEMS. I NEED TO SOLVE MY PROBLEMS,

I NEED TO QUIT LIVING ON CREDIT, I NEED TO BE MORE CAUTIOUS WITH MY SPENDING, I NEED TO RECOGNIZE THAT IT IS NOT ABOUT THINGS, IT IS ABOUT BEING CONTENT.

I AM THE ONE IN CHARGE OF MY LIFE AND MY HAPPINESS AND I DO NOT NOR WILL NOT BLAME A SINGLE PERSON FOR WHERE THIS COUNTRY IS AT THIS TIME....I DO NOT EXPECT ONE MAN OR ONE PARTY TO FIX THINGS... I NEED TO FIX THINGS IN MY LIFE AND QUIT DEPENDING ON OTHERS OR BLAMING OTHERS . I NEED TO  ACCEPT THE BLAME FOR WHERE OUR COUNTRY IS AT THIS TIME AND TO TRY TO DO BETTER....NO ONE CAN DO IT FOR ME.....

WHEN THE USA GETS BACK ON TRACK WITH LIVING GOD'S WORD, THE BLESSINGS WE HAVE ENJOYED WILL COME BACK.....

NO SINGLE MAN CAN DO THAT......SO I SURE HOPE BARACK OBAMA IS A CHRISTIAN....NOT ONE OF THE ONES THAT WILL BE LEFT BEHIND.....

WHEN GOD SAYS ENOUGH IS ENOUGH...WHEN THE FINAL WHISTLE BLOWS AND THE BIG VOICE SAYS "GAME OVER" WHICH SIDE WILL I BE ON WINNERS OR LOSERS????
